Privacy Policy
VisaFrame is developed by RIGPA Tech Private Limited ("RIGPA Tech", "we", "us"), based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. This policy explains how VisaFrame handles information when you use the app.
The short version
VisaFrame works entirely on your device. It does not have a server, does not use analytics or advertising software, and does not send your photos, location, or usage activity anywhere. Everything described below happens locally on your phone.
Information VisaFrame accesses
Camera. With your permission, VisaFrame uses your device's camera to let you take a photo. The camera feed is used only to show you the live guide overlay and capture your photo — it is not recorded, streamed, or transmitted anywhere.
Photo library. With your permission, VisaFrame can save the sized photo you create to your device's photo library, and can read a photo you choose to import from your library instead of using the camera. VisaFrame only accesses the specific photo you select or create — it does not scan or access your library beyond that.
Country/document selection. The country and document type you choose (e.g. "India — Passport") is used only to display the correct size and guide within the app. This selection is not recorded or transmitted.
VisaFrame does not access your contacts, location, microphone, or any other device data or sensor.
Information VisaFrame does not collect
We do not collect, store, or transmit:
- Your photos or any image you capture or import
- Your name, email, or any account information (VisaFrame does not require an account)
- Your location
- Analytics, usage statistics, or device identifiers
- Advertising identifiers
VisaFrame does not include any third-party analytics, crash-reporting, or advertising software development kits (SDKs).
Where your data lives
Every photo you capture or size in VisaFrame, and every setting you choose, stays only on your device, in local app storage or your device's photo library. RIGPA Tech has no server for VisaFrame and cannot see, access, or recover any photo or data from the app, because it never leaves your device.
If your device's operating system automatically backs up your photo library to a personal cloud service (such as iCloud or Google Photos), a photo you've saved through VisaFrame may be included in that backup the same way any other photo on your device would be. This is standard behavior controlled by your device's operating system and account settings, not by VisaFrame, and you can manage it from your device's system settings at any time.
Country and document requirement data
VisaFrame includes a built-in reference library of photo size and format requirements for various countries and document types. This is static reference content bundled with the app — it is not personal data, and looking up a country's requirements does not transmit any information about you. Government photo requirements can change; VisaFrame's reference data reflects our best effort to keep it current, but you should always confirm current requirements against the relevant embassy, consulate, or government website before an official submission.
Children's privacy
VisaFrame is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from children, consistent with the fact that it does not collect personal information from any user.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date above and post the revised policy at the same location. Since VisaFrame doesn't collect contact information, we may not be able to notify you directly — please check back periodically if you have concerns.
